    Commemorating 30 years of National Volunteer Week (NVW) - volunteers from all around Australia are recognised and publicly acknowledged for their valuable contribution to communities including the 70,000+ volunteers in NT. Alice Springs Thank You Event, Star of Alice last night with Hon Dale Wakefield MLA, Minister for Territory Families and tonight the Hon Michael Gunner MLA, Chief Minister of the NT in Darwin. Congratulations to the Coalition on being re-elected at last weekends’ Federal Election. Acknowledge WOW Day yesterday to thank NT emergency services volunteers.

    National Volunteer Week 2019 SA&NT media release

    Almost one million South Australians volunteer, ranging from 18 to 85+ years of age and from all works of live. Today marks the first day of National Volunteer Week, 30 years since its inception by Volunteering Australia to promote volunteering on a national level.

Monday 20 May 2019 marks the first day of National Volunteer Week, a week-long celebration recognising and acknowledging the difference volunteers make to the lives of others.

Our CEO is taking part in the Boss’ Blind Date Challenge in support of Guide Dogs SA/NT.

We have five scholarships to help with the budget - covering travel and accommodation to eligible NFP organisations (turnover less than $500K). Guide Dogs SA/NT provide training and assistance to people with vision loss wherever they live in the Northern Territory. Boss’ Blind Date Challenge - Friday 29 March 2019 raising much needed funds for this worthwhile cause.
