    CEO Communique VSANT 22 December 2021

    Welcome to my last CEO Communique for 2021. With the pandemic still a constant, it has been another demanding year, with lockdowns and endless changes, keeping uncertainty into our lives. Through the difficulties there have been many positive stories with people reaching out to help one another, and I’d like to say THANK YOU to everyone working across the volunteering ecosystem.

On 5 December we celebrate International Volunteer Day with a theme of 'Volunteer now for our Common Future' We also acknowledge International Day of People with Disability today which aims to increase public awareness, understanding and acceptance of people with disability and the importance of volunteering in breaking down barriers.
