Mentoring is a relationship between a more experienced person with specialist skills and knowledge and a less experienced or knowledgeable person.
Our Mentor Service is available to key staff such as Board members, managers and volunteers of volunteer-involving organisations (VIOs) who are members of Volunteering SA&NT.
The mentoring relationship supports, motivates and encourages people to manage their own learning and development in their work environment. It helps to maximise potential, develop skills, improve performance and achieve goals.
Our mentors have appropriate qualifications, professional experience, skills and attributes to work with their mentees on set objectives within agreed time frames.
