Two Two One Mental Health Charity

Two Two One Mental Health Charity understands the importance of having lived experience embed into all mental health practices and is looking for a person who has lived with or has cared for someone with a mental illness.


This board member position requires a Territorian who understands the role a board participates in the movement and growth of an organisation and can support in policies and procedures, awareness and fundraising for the charity.


Board members are required to attend monthly board meetings on a Thursday afternoon and help with fundraising and awareness events. All board members are required to be a representative of Two Two One Mental Health Charity and be invested in the purpose of early intervention for mental health.

Monthly meetings Thursday nights, preparation time for meetings and actions and support in fundraising activities.

Requirements

Please Note:

* As each organisation provides different levels/types of insurance, volunteers are reminded to check with the organisation as to the type of insurance provided for volunteers (e.g. Volunteer Personal Accident Insurance).
* Best practice volunteer involvement recommends that a volunteer role should not be more than 15-16 hours per week.
