The Salvation Army is looking for a highly motivated volunteer to assist with contacting people face-to-face and by phone to discuss budgeting and to assist with the process of applying for a microfinance loan. The Salvos No Interest Loan Scheme (NILS) provides interest free loans to low income earners to assist with purchasing essential items and services. NILS not only aims to eliminate current financial burdens, but also assist individuals reach financial independence.

Microfinance Applications Prepared and Submitted:-

• Service provided within scope of the NILS worker’s role

  
  



• Notes accurately reflect the conversation and requirements of the community member

  
  



• Serve community members promptly and in a courteous and respectful manner and ensure community members leave satisfied with assistance provided

  
  



• Data entry accurately reflects assistance provided

  
  



• Positive community member feedback through evaluation forms

  
  



• Complaints and Compliments data is collected

  
  



• Attend all available network meetings and training sessions to ensure knowledge remains current
