Emergency Volunteers for Emergency Responses (VNT-EVER)

When natural disasters strike, volunteers are crucial in helping out in their communities. Volunteering NT's Emergency Volunteers for Emergency Response (VNT-EVER) program invited Darwin residents to pre-register to be readily available to assist community organisations in emergencies with the relevant training, screening checks, insurances and licences already in place.

A register of certified Spontaneous Emergency Volunteers is now available for Relief and Recovery Agencies and Emergency Management Agencies at the time of an emergency, reducing time in recruitment and training volunteers.
